1995 Epiphone Sheraton II

I bought this guitar in 1995 from The Woodwind And Brasswind catalog store.
I had been wanting one for a long time, and they had the best price.
$450, including case, shipped to my door.
This was the first guitar I had ever bought sight unseen, but it turned out great.
The build quality of this Korean-made Epi is very good.
There was one fret that was slightly bent, and was easily restored.
The stock pickups were replaced with some that Jim DeCola custom made for me.
These are his versions of the Duncan 59s that I loved so much in my Explorer.
I'm not a real fan of the gold hardware - I think it looks bad as it ages and tarnishes.
However, this guitar has an incredible tone - definitely something you can't get with a Strat or Lester.
Great blues guitar.
